Entertainment Media Editor- Kris Slava

Kris Slava a television executive and a writer.  His career has focused on the unlikely and occasionally uneasy intersection of art and TV.  He is currently SVP of Programming & Production for Ovation, “the only national TV network devoted to arts culture”. Before moving to L.A. to relaunch Ovation, he worked in New York at Bravo, Trio and A&E.  There he variously oversaw digital content, scheduling, acquisitions, live events, concerts, and international drama.  He has been an Off-off Broadway playwright, theater critic, and technical writer.  He’s an Emmy nominee and founding board member of the New York chapter of The British Academy (BAFTA). He  is currently pursuing a Masters in Media and Communications at Touro University Worldwide.
